Get the key

  1. Visit the website where the recovery key is restored: https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey

  2. Sign in to the website with the Microsoft account you previously signed in to on your computer.

  3. Check the list of keys against the key ID displayed on your computer screen:
